James Good, CLU®, CFP®, ChFC®

James Good entered the financial services business professionally in 1993 with a passion to help people develop, implement, and maintain personal financial plans that are comprehensive in nature, truly reflect their personal values and free them to live the lives they believe they are called to live.  In the fall of 2004, after a 10 year tenure as a Counselor affiliated with Mennonite Mutual Aid Association, James moved his practice to Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania and formed The Wealth Development Council™.

 

Throughout his career, James has personally written or coordinated nearly 400 individual financial plans centered around estate planning, retirement planning, and insurance and investment management.

 

In the pursuit of positioning his practice to deliver the highest quality technical advice to his clients, James studied and achieved the Chartered Life Underwriter® and Chartered Financial Consultant® designations, became licensed as a Certified Financial Planner™, and currently operates his practice in offices shared with Philip K. Miller & Associates, Certified Public Accountants.

 

James enjoys recording and performing bluegrass music, helping to homeschool his 3 children and serving as an active member of the Diplomat and Ambassador Committees of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber of Commerce.
